Privacy notice
Your privacy
This notice explains what personal data Apricot Stays ("we") handles throughapricotstays.in and when you contact us on WhatsApp. It is written to meet India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act).
What this website collects
Nothing that identifies you. There are no forms, no accounts, no cookies and no advertising or tracking pixels. Fonts, photos and video are served from our own site, so your browser does not contact Google or other third parties while you browse. Links to WhatsApp, Airbnb and Google Maps open those services only if you tap them.
- Visitor statistics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page views and page speed without cookies, without storing IP addresses and without building visitor profiles.
- Security logs. Our host, Cloudflare, briefly processes technical data such as IP address and browser type to deliver the site and block attacks.
When you message us on WhatsApp
If you tap "Chat on WhatsApp", you choose to start a conversation with us on WhatsApp, a service run by Meta under its own privacy policy. We use what you send us — typically your name, phone number, dates and number of guests — only to answer your enquiry and, if you book, to arrange and manage your stay.
We do not sell your data or use it for advertising. We keep enquiry chats only as long as we need them for your enquiry or stay, and booking records for as long as Indian law requires (for example, for tax and guest-registration rules).
Your rights
Under the DPDP Act you can ask us to:
- tell you what personal data we hold about you and how we use it;
- correct, complete or update it;
- erase it, where we no longer need to keep it;
- withdraw any consent you have given; and
- nominate someone to exercise these rights for you.
Contact and grievances
Message us on WhatsApp at +91 97405 44873or email hello@apricotstays.in. We will respond as soon as we can and within the time the law allows. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
Changes
If we start collecting more data — for example through an enquiry or booking form — we will update this notice first and ask for your consent where required.
